This webinar takes an in-depth look at aortic valve regurgitation. Aortic valve regurgitation often remains underdiagnosed and undertreated in everyday clinical practice. This is due, on the one hand, to the initially mild symptoms experienced by patients and, on the other hand, to the difficulty of making an accurate diagnosis. If left untreated, significant aortic valve regurgitation is associated with high mortality and morbidity. In recent years, in addition to new surgical treatment approaches, interventional catheter-based therapy has also undergone significant advances in this field.
