Contemporary interventional PCI techniques have advan-ced significantly over time and are used to intervene in the most difficult lesions in the treatment of coronary artery disease. There are, however, some challenging lesions that require careful clinical evaluation and pre-procedural plan-ning. These complex lesions include bifurcation lesions, calcified lesions, unprotected left main coronary artery lesions, saphenous vein graft lesions, aorto-ostial lesions or protected PCI. How to address these lesions with Complex and High-Risk Interventional Procedures (CHIP) and a S.M.A.R.T.-PCI ap-proach will be discussed based on “real life” recorded cases and current evidence in this two-day interactive course. We are excited to announce this new CHIP course concept in cooperation between AGIK and EAPCI because this course isn't just about learning: It's an opportunity to get in contact and network with colleagues from all over Europe at a deeper level.
